I am being honest- my workdesk for the past 24 hours has been this!!!!!!!!
eughhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE Ironing!
- probably because I always leave it until it get's to this ridiculous state!
Whilst crafting so happily over the long weekend as all my lot seemed quite happy doing their own thing. I bwgan to get the "pangs of guilt", 2 or 3 times per day as I heard cries of "Mummy, where are all my clothes?" and "Mummy, I have no knicker's to wear!!!!!!!."
Enough's, enough's I thought - I have to tackle this - and with GREAT resentment I got that iro***g board out! All the while thinking of what I COULD be creating!!!
Anyway, - ooooohhhh - what's that I see, LOOOOK! What's also on that horrible pile OF IRONING, Could it have been placed there deliberately!!!!!!!!!
It's Issue 3 of Simply Homemade Magazine. and I am in it (only in the "Your Letter's page" but my "make" WAS featured/published!) I am wondering if I could be cheeky enough to post on my tool bar/side bar - "I was featured / Published in "Simply Homemade Mag!" What do you think ? !!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh yes, go on, say you were featured, I've been in a couple, sad they didn'['t use the card I wanted them to use though. agh! I hate ironing..just got in from work and apart from feeding the chickens and walking the dogs I do what ever else is needed...and this week soooooooooooooooo many piles of clothes that needed washing =and ironing, hey, I'm only here two hours!! Stayed longer....so I don't have to go Friday...told them I havd a 'wedding' to go to!!
I just hope you don't iron the knickers!!!! No wonder you hate it. Hope you get through it all...

You are right...we are twins! Tho' I think I am the "first born", my teenage girls are granddaughters and I get to send them home when I'm tired of them or they want money! Well, I think I am going to put my magazine experience on my side bar....what the heck, the editors of those magazines made a choice to publish our pictures and I'm pretty sure they get more than one a month to choose from, so it was a choice! You didn't happen to buy a new sweater yesterday, too, did you? If you did...then I know FOR SURE we are twins.
Yes, post your mention in the magazine! I hate ironing too, and put it off so long the kids sometimes outgrow the clothes! LOL, but true!

I have found that if you ignore the ironing long enough that 13 year old son will work out how to iron his formal uniforms that missed the ironing lady drop-off!
Anyways once it is done you can create again. (But I have to agree I don't like ironing at all)

I think most of us HATE ironing but I usually do mine in small doses BEFORE I start crafting so that my time is earned. I most certainly do not iron knickers or socks for that matter!!!

About 35 years ago I worked out that ironing takes up too much precious time so I only iron what HAS to be ironed sorting out the clothes before they are hung up by tugging and folding cleverly, those that no one sees or those that will crumple within minutes of putting on....and towels should NOT be ironed anyway...hey presto a very small pile remains lol

I never iron. My boy does. He is crazy about ironing. Before he showed up I only bought non-iron clothes, but I'm slowly venturing out.

I hate ironng too. I hang it up in the garage and forget about it till hubby moans about how long it has been there for. Just cleared a rail yesterday yuk. Hugd Mrs A.

And stop ironing! Since I've moved to the States I haven't ironed any more - no one seems to do that here as far as I can tell. It is so liberating! (As you can see, I am NOT a good German Hausfrau!

I’m just the same as your Rebecca, I hate ironing and leave it until I’ve nothing left to ware and ‘have’ to do it. The difference is that I only have me to worry about and not a family so as you can imagine mine can sit there for weeks Lol!
